Coach Cyril wants to bust the myth wide open that you must be in perfect physical condition to begin a training program. Almost every person has one challenge or another, be it creaky knees, a sore back or low energy. Coach Cyril works with you to get results early in the training process because the more you see results, the more likely you'll engage with the program – and he wants you to stay to reap the benefits of a healthier life.
Every new coaching client goes through an assessment with Coach Cyril that includes an in-depth fitness evaluation. He wants to understand your goals, health history and any limitations such as injuries. His measurable plan can address one or more of these specific areas:

For too long, injuries were seen as an unavoidable aspect of training, the risk that comes with the territory, or that pain is a signal to stop working out. At Be Bold Excel Fitness, we disagree. Coach Cyril can help any client, any athlete, because he has developed a system for seeing, understanding and correcting the movement that may have caused or continues to exacerbate the source of pain.
If pain is a sign of a serious injury, Coach Cyril can identify those signs to guide the client to appropriate, timely medical care. But for the large majority, whose pain does not stop them from moving, Coach Cyril draws from his experience working with hundreds of athletes to understand what is creating the pain in the first place to create a plan to address the problem.
The Be Bold Excel Fitness model provides a simplified yet comprehensive way of evaluating individuals with or without pain to determine how best to support their performance and longevity.

Since I was a sophomore in high school in 1982, my passion has been studying and practicing fitness and nutrition. I am fascinated by bettering my best, living into my belief that "discipline equals freedom" -- the freedom that comes from owning your health, feeling strong and maintaining your energy. I commit everything I have learned about fitness as a lifelong student and competitor in marathons, triathlons, martial arts and GORUCK Heavy events to my clients' training sessions. I will never stop learning and honing my craft. And I will always believe that my clients have enormous potential.
